Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our website!

My name is Bex and this is my assistance dog/medical alert dog Lara! Cute huh?

We have recently started this new venture due to a long term health condition that has left me unable to some things as I used to.

BUT

Every cloud has a silver lining and so Lara and I are determined to do some good with this business venture.

I have always been aware of differences, physically, mentally and other people's perceptions of others... but, I have never realised (until 6 months ago) how hard it was to access the same facilities or be spoken to in the same way as someone who is able bodied! It's honestly mad, from getting spoken to like I'm a child, or not spoken to at all because I'm in a wheelchair, to having to do things at certain times because that is what you are given. It's all incredibly mad really in 2023.

SO...

Inclusivity Matters was born!

We are still discovering who we are and we would love you to help us on our journey!

Update

One year on and oh how we have grown! Lara and I are slowly on our way to becoming the dream team and for that I couldn't be happier!

Health wise, we are still fighting our way to answers. Everyday brings new challenges and new symptoms. FND is an incredibly diverse set of symptoms that is forever changing and that can be EXHAUSTING!

But...over this past year we thrived during Pride! We were on the Suffolk BBC Sounds Radio, we've been to many different events and most importantly spread the word about how Inclusivity Matters!

While we still experience discrimination and isolation often, I am incredibly grateful for the support we have recieved so far.

We've gone from a brand new idea, a brand new website and a brand new page, one year ago.

Now we are still growing and we have 215 people that all believe in my dream and that's what keeps me going.

We are still on the way to creating new products and I am excited for where this will go in 2024/25.
